Now that the first big flood is out of the way, we can finally paint the ice!
After a rough start with our pump, and the purchase of a new one, we were finally able to get our powdered paint and water mix going.
The pump sent paint through a hose, where it was applied directly to the ice in a fine mist.
We had a group of great helpers today who were here to help our painter handle the hose and keep it off the wet parts of the ice. (Thank you to everyone who showed up!)
